Tara E. Tumulty, MSN, CPNP, ARNP

Tara was born and raised in New York. She decided to move to Boston to attend Northeastern University to pursue a degree in biochemistry. During college, Tara participated in the co-op program where she worked at a pediatric primary care office as a medical assistant. After graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in 2006, Tara continued to work with children doing clinical research, which inspired her to return to school to pursue a career in nursing. While completing her master of science in nursing at Northeastern University, she worked as a nurse at primary care pediatric office in Boston, and also worked at Hale Reservation for two summers, as the camp health supervisor. She also worked as a teaching assistant for the pediatric undergraduate nursing students. Tara completed her pediatric nurse practitioner clinical rotations at Roslindale Pediatrics and Children's Hospital of Boston in the Sports Medicine Department. She graduated in 2011 with her Master of Science in Nursing, and was accepted into the nursing honor society. Tara enjoys medical volunteering at sporting events, especially the Boston Marathon. She is very excited to begin her pediatric nurse practitioner career at Healthy Future Pediatrics, and looks forward to meeting the families.

Tara lives in Olympia with her husband and two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, surfing, rock climbing, and hiking.
