Growing boys and girls need routine check ups to assess their health, growth, and development.
Our pediatric examinations (also known as child physical exams or child wellness exams) are focused on preventive medical care and general wellness but these appointments can also be a good time to get any of your questions answered regarding other topics such as any behavioral concerns or symptoms* regarding digestion, vision, hearing, etc.
Our approach is collaborative. We focus on open communication and welcome all of your questions. We will never make you feel like your questions are burdening our staff or that you are being annoying or paranoid. We’re your partners in caring for your child.
A typical well child check schedule:
- Starts with several newborn / infant visits
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 24 months
- 30 months
- 3 years
- 4 years
- And once every year thereafter for an annual health supervision visit that includes a physical examination as well as a developmental evaluation, and behavioral and learning assessments.
